Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as older boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16, under the direction of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. While a student, and being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choirs. After moving in America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
